      I played WC3 for years along with the TFT expansion, the core games were great. I also played loads of custom maps but I never did understand why DotA was so popular. It's basically just team deathmatch with computer mobs and a convoluted item system. Also, you'll rarely get a game that takes less than an hour. Just go play a good FPS instead.
